How do I Upgrade or Update my Software

Please have the serial number of your product handy and go to The Customer Intranet. (https://license.opteqint.net) You can get the serial number off the physical product, off your original invoice, or from the license administration menu under System Tools and Utilities on your Opteq product.

From this site you will be able to check and/or download an Update file to your hard drive. Once you have your Update file simply login to your Opteq product with an administrators account and under the System Tools and Utilities menu you will find a License Administration menu item under which is an Update upload form which will upload your Update to your unit and apply it.

Alternatively you may go directly to the update site via the opteq iQ unit if it has access to the internet. This would be done by clicking on the licence management menu under system tools and utilities.
When you check latest Updates on the Customer Intranet you will see your current version status and how many updates that you need to apply before becoming fully up to date. You will also be able to read the Change Log for each update which will tell you what changes have been made and what effect the update will have on your system.

Unfortunately, if you do not have a current and paid up updates license with us then you will not be allowed to download any updates. You will be able to view them however so you can see if it is worth it. You can check the status of your license at the same place where the updates are on the Customer Intranet. Please contact your Opteq partner if you would like to update your license and follow the steps above to upgrade your license.

It is also now recently possible to set AUTOMATIC updates!
