It should be noted that, due to its primary design and high system load, the monitor it is a real-time monitor and as such only records data while it is running and only into memory. Stopping the monitor will clear all data and it is lost unless you have copied or printed it before you stop it. You may however run the packet capture at the same time as the monitor and replay the stream through the monitor at any time to recreate the summaries.

You can now capture and save packet to replay at a later stage or for export to a 3rd party packet analyser.
